I hope the Wii U and PC are developed in tandem.
IMO, the whole online networking for gaming is a rather basic concept, it's just that each company offers something different in the way they deliver the service. MS, with Live, knew what they were doing from the get-go, so it isn't an add-on service. What MS provides is seamless integration along with stupendous stability. The only thing I see MS isn't or hasn't done, is allow games to be purchased and gifted by people, like Steam does. I think Nintendo should focus heavily o...
@Silentnegotiator, do as the first half of your name suggests and remain that way...
The Wii U version looks way better and it's not even direct feed footage.
If you just started gaming this gen then I guess they wouldn't be in 3rd place? But if you look at their history, as the article pointed out, then imo they're in 3rd place. Idk, lol, it seems the first two comments have created a spin-spin situation though...
I wish the Vita knew what you meant *wink*
Nah, I'm joking, lol...
Why would anyone think what they saw with The Last of Us was scripted? Scripted is when the game takes control away from the player to show different interactions and events going on in the game. There is also a hybrid version, were a game will queue a button push that triggers the viewing of something else happening somewhere else; like a plane crash or point of interest for a destination...
Yes, and after watching Square Enix's new tech, Epic will have to really bring it with Unreal 4 because the bar has been set.
"gamers are too "smart" for faked gameplay footage"
Not on n4g...
I understood what you meant OneAboveAll, going by your second comment. theWB27 is being petty for some reason.
Looks good.
Hmmm...you're the first person I've heard mention this game using Unreal.
Exactly Shaman! People like that are tad bit delusional. They see that Square Enix tech and yet they still want to linger in this generation of gaming, might I add arrogantly. Smh...
Finally everyone can get a glimpse into what next gen will offer. But I'm sure there will be the zealots that will cling to their old hardware, lmao. 'tis pathetic actually...
Let me get this straight. People should go out and buy a $400 iPad for this game? I don't know if this is confirmed for Wii U but that's what I would spend $400 on, since Wii U is a full blown gaming device, lol. But maybe I'm reading your comment wrong?
The Last of Us was weak imo. There was way more better looking and interesting games at E3 than The Last of Us.
Is that coming from a God of War fan, lol?
Yup, and I saw the new footage from today and...it's why Epic will probably always have my respect one way or the other. I'll finish off by saying that, I can't wait for more gameplay footage.
It seems Wii U won't be left in the dust by other hardware, unless Microsoft comes in and re-writes the book on everything.
I honestly have to disagree. Just look at Nintendo, the only reason they're in the hardware business is to deliver their software, but they'll never let their software breathe outside of their hardware...not anytime soon. That's the console business...
